Hosted by Cassandra,

Founder of Earth and Sky Yoga

Cassandra has been holding retreats both locally and internationally for over 17 years, creating experiences that are grounded, welcoming, and deeply nourishing. Those who attend her retreats often speak of the genuine sense of connection, ease, and non-judgemental space she creates — a place where women can truly rest, soften, and simply be themselves.

Cassandra first discovered yoga in her early twenties whilst travelling and immediately felt the profound impact the practice had on her sense of grounding, clarity, and wellbeing. Returning to Sydney in 1997, she immersed herself in regular study before undertaking a 4.5-year teacher training apprenticeship at The Art of Yoga in Summer Hill in 2003. In 2009, after many years of dedicated practice and training, she became a certified Anusara® Yoga teacher.

Over the past two decades, Cassandra has continued to deepen her studies with some of the world’s most respected teachers, including the founder of Anusara Yoga, John Friend, meditation and philosophy teacher Carlos Pomeda, and yoga therapist Doug Keller. She remains deeply grateful to the many teachers and teachings that have shaped her path.

Her classes weave together intelligent biomechanical alignment with heart-centred philosophy, offering practices that are both grounding and uplifting. Through movement, breath, stillness, and connection, Cassandra’s intention is to create experiences that bring greater freedom, lightness, and ease to both body and heart.
